We are thrilled to introduce Master Sommelier Christopher Tanghe as the newest member of our team! He is joining GuildSomm as chief instructor, a brand new role for us. Many of you have already had the opportunity to learn from him through the GuildSomm masterclasses he has taught over the last several months.
Originally from the East Coast, Chris studied at the CIA in Hyde Park, NY, then worked in restaurants across the country. Wine soon captured his attention, and he switched to the front of house and began studying through the CMS. Chris earned the title of Master Sommelier in May 2013. Since then, he designed and opened the Spanish restaurant Aragona in Seattle and, most recently, worked as a portfolio manager and educator for Vinum Importing.
