I pulled this directly off of the INV website. I started searching because I have become irritated over the constant stream of different information pertaining to Argentina. When I visited, there were no mention of sub-regions of Mendoza such as Northern Mendoza, Eastern Mendoza, etc. People did refer to Maipu, Lujan de Cuyo, and Valle de Uco though. The information I was giving by Wines of Argentina even differs within their own presentation, and from their website.
Finally I decided to do the research, and this document is based name for name on a document from the INV's website that lists only the legally defined regions. I just put it in order to make sense.
