This would be my first time at this conference and I want to make the most it. What are your recommendations to help me maximize my learning experience during those 3 days?
It’s a fantastic event. Are you going as an attendee or a volunteer?
One tip is to sign-up for the lectures you are most interested in early. Once they announce tickets the seminars fill up pretty quick. Also, there are lots of hospitality suites happening around the property. I'm sure you will get a schedule but be aware of them as they are not obvious like the big seminars.
Also, be sure to pay attention to the lunches on the schedule. Many of the lunch sponsors make these an unofficial educational seminar, bringing in well-recognized speakers, and offering great insight.
Wow! I am so excited about this conference and to visit Texas for the first time. I check the conference website pretty often and I will be signing up as soon as the registration window opens up.
Checking the website this often is bringing back back memories of waiting for grades to come out. Is there a typical lead time that the schedule is announced, or is it dependent on the year?
