What are some of the best wine shops in downtown Chicago?
This is a very good small shop. You can ask for Craig.
It's not a shop but an online store. Flickingerwines.
Plum Market is amazing
I would like to second this - Plum Market is dope
Perman is great, I also like red and white wines
It is a 25 minute drive from Chicago in the southwest suburbs but a definite destination store. Over 2,500 fine wine bottles on the floor, family and independently owned for over 34 years! Just a train ride away!! www.mainstreetwine.us Check it out!!
Red & White is also a fantastic option - https://www.redandwhitewineschicago.com
I completely agree with the Red & White and Perman recommendations! Perman in particular has some amazing low production stuff while still managing to have a nice range price point wise. Vin Chicago is also a go to spot. It's in a bit of an odd location - smaller than a Binny's but not boutique by any means. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and they will send you tech sheets/info on the wines you buy if you're interested.
