I work in retail and have started to focus on Cava as a great introduction into sparkling wine. If I'm going to specialize on Cava, I'd love to get a better understanding of its history and the state of the current industry. I've read as many articles as I can and referenced the classics like world atlas of wine, etc. but I'd love something that goes into a bit more depth. Does anyone have any suggestions for any resources?

It's a DO in motion and not in a good way. I don't know of any books that cover the region in any its current state but if you wanted to know what's been happening, have a look at this recent post www.hudin.com/.../
The book is great, but very expensive in the US. Go to amazon.co.uk and have it shipped from the UK...
Thank you, saved me like $70!
I didnt realize the price jump. I bought the most recent edition used back in March for $47 on Amazon. The book is good but not $500 good....
I thought this was a joke, but on Google, the third result was an eBay posting for $457.
