Are there any good books on websites on fruit brandies? Seems like every year while studying, something new catches my interest. And while I found enough info to help me decide on a few bottles of Calvados to try (thank you Vinous article/reviews), I have not been able to find dedicated websites or books on the subject.
Also, if anybody has recommendations for European producers (excluding Calvados, which is pretty straight forward) that are available in the States, I am all ears. I do know that Reisetbauer should be high on my list, while Rochelt is more than I am willing to spend at this point.
thanks for the help
Charles Neal wrote an excellent book on Calvados. You can listen to our podcast interview with him from back in 2015 here:
I second the Charles Neal "tome" - fantastic work on a fantastic subject.
