I used to buy Yellow Tail Shiraz for the sole purpose of marinating chuck roast. After I read how Yellow Tail popularized Shiraz in the U.S. with its brightly colored labels and new-wine-drinker pricing, I decided to actually taste it. Lo and behold, it was delicious! For a poolside pairing with barbecued ribs, this wine is quite fine.
