Has anyone ever attended this event?
Yes! It was incredible. Very in depth, got to tour all of the appellations, the food was insane...best produce I have ever tasted! Fresh uni. I loved being able to start in Sta. Rita Hills (Region 1 climate) and essentially end in Happy Canyon where you typically see more Bordeaux varietals. The most unforgettable moments were at Stolpman in Ballard drinking their carbonic Sangiovese and sharing some Ganevat and Sadie Family with Rajat Parr who was pointing out his Trousseau vines and some Syrah cuttings from Clape. Invaluable experience! Every sommelier should experience this! :D
Following! I got an invite this year!
Yeah. It's killer. Definitely a must go.
I'm going this year.
I'll be there!
Excited to meet you.
I attended most of last year's event as a supplier (check out our terrific wines at samsarawine.com) and will be there again as one of the sponsors. It was a terrific event last year and the nice thing is it is small, only about 40 participants and 30 wineries, so attendees can get to know each other well and really learn about the wines from this region, which is still not well known. I hope to meet many of you there!
See you both there!
