Heading to Paris in April and contemplating a side trip for 2 days in Bordeaux. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to best maximize my experience (yes....only 2 days) without getting stuck in the typical "tourist tasing trap" for tasting wine? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Cheers!
Book the two days with Sommelier/Driver/Host Henri Challeau. We did one day with him. He made all arrangements to visit wineries. We went to 3 in St Emillion and one in Pomerol. Visited Coutet, La Croizille, Canon-la-Gaffelière and Gazin (Pomerol). You can google his name and read the great reviews of his tours.

Many thanks Mark! That is just what I need!
