I am looking for some other examples of domestic dry Riesling for btg. I am currently pouring Trefethen. Thank you.
Tatomer out of Santa Barbara is a personal favorite. Stony Hill is also good, though I believe off-dry in style.
Chateau Montelena makes some pretty delightful wines out of Potter Valley, and for FLX I'd second Forge and add Empire. Trisaetum out of Willamette has for me been far and away the best domestic rieslings I've ever tasted (and some of the best Blanc de Blanc to boot). A lot of producers around the country are on a kick using champagne yeast and cold fermentation - beware of these - they make wines that taste cotton candy like and lose all sense of terroir expression.
+1 for Trisaetum, Tatomer, and Forge
Stony Hill is nice. I used the 2013 in a pairing menu recently, not incredibly complex though. I would say Empire Estate from the Finger Lakes is the best dry Riesling ive ever tasted
