I am looking for some other examples of domestic dry Riesling for btg. I am currently pouring Trefethen. Thank you.
I’m surprised no one has mentioned Domaine St. Michelle from Washington. They did a collab with Dr. Loosen to create their Eroica Riesling, albeit, off dry, still a great wine
I'm in Washington and feel obliged to carry several vintages of Eroica; as you write, it isn't dry and it always smells too much of bath salts to me. The basic Ch. Ste. Michelle Dry Riesling is ridiculously good value, but since everyone knows it's $7/bottle at the grocery store, it's tough to put on the list at a restaurant mark-up (though the latest QD sheet from the distributor has the 2015, along with Ch. Ste. Michelle 2013 Syrah, at $3/bottle wholesale...)
