A unique approach is taken in each seminar proposed by !'Ecole du Vin de Bordeaux at Manhatta to heighten your experience with the wines.

A light lunch served with a selection of Bordeaux’s organic wines will follow the last seminar.

Meditation and Yoga Techniques to improve your tasting experience - 8:30am to 9:45am

The best way to start your morning!
Developed with Bordeaux accredited tutor and yoga instructor Martine Bounet, this seminar will teach you to refocus and rediscover your sensations, for a better understanding of tasting wine. After a three-step breathing activity, participants will visualize their sensations (acidity, aromas, textures, flavors, volume, etc.). Rather than trying to learn theoretically, each participant will be able to identify and memorize the sensations triggered by wine for a heightened experience. You do not want to miss this wine tasting exercise!

Bordeaux Advanced Level Blind Tasting - 10:00am to 11:30am 

Are you studying for an exam?
This high-level blind tasting will dive deep into what you must know about Bordeaux to pass your next exam. The interactive approach of the tasting is designed to reinforce the unique characteristics of each wine to improve your memory and enhance the tasting experience. Master of Wine Mary Gorman-McAdams will lead you through a tasting you will not soon forget. Limited seats for only those already enrolled in CMS, WSET or any other high-level wine program. Exam level required during registration and seating is very limited for this intimate tasting.

Artisanal Chocolate & Bordeaux Wine Workshop - 11:45am to 1:15pm

A pairing experiment to activate your taste buds!
L’École du Vin de Bordeaux, in partnership with La Maison du Chocolat, will take you on an exploration of your senses through wine and chocolate. Chocolate, like wine, is a product of terroir, varieties, and the passionate people behind each step of the process. This seminar, led by Master of Wine Mary Gorman-McAdams, will take your taste buds on a journey through specific tasting methods, and a cross-tasting to discover the perfect match.
