I've been running a tasting group in my South Austin apartment every Wednesday night at 8pm for those new to blind tasting and working towards Certified. Currently I have about 4-5 people that show up irregularly so I'm looking to expand the group to have more structured tasting and study sessions. If you are interested, please reply to this post or send me a message and I'll get you the details.
Hey there! I’d be interested, I also live in south Austin. My email is Rios.email@example.com if you want to shoot me a msg about the next time y’all get together! Instagram @rios_britt thanks!
Hi Brittany and Dave,
I too live further South Austin, in Buda (about 6 miles south of Southpark Meadows) and I've been continously hosting a group of 4 years running at 7pm on Monday nights.
This is not a CMS exam focused group. It's more of a continuing development tasting group, where you'd get to expand your network, but also taste wines from "outside" the tasting grid...for example, next Monday we're covering wines from Armenia, Georgia, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Croatia.
If you're interested in joining, please send me a message.
I also lead a more casual bottle share every week. Different people host each week and the host determines which night and what the theme is. This week, for example, is Thursday and the theme is Italian Whites. Some of us have certification/are working towards certification and others just come to drink wine and hang. Drop me a line firstname.lastname@example.org or on IG @mrdthompson
Hey there! I know this post is a little old but I'm interested in joining in! I just passed Intro and am looking to study for Certified. I live just north of downtown off of 12th and Lamar. My email is email@example.com and my cell is 925-895-2815, looking forward to connecting!
I'm also studying for Certified right now (for the May exam.) I'm on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can you email me if y'all are still meeting up? Nadiajh512@gmail.com
Emailed you with the details. We have added a few people from this thread and I hope to add more!
