James, best of luck to you sir... Introductory was a lot of fun!
Surprisingly a lot of people Ive known gearing up for their intro want to tackle tasting as a topic; 1) it's only theory for the exam 2) There's no better way, in my opinion, to get a 101 on tasting than the intro course, so the more of a blank canvas you are for it, the more you'll get out of it, and develop some really good habits as a result!
