As I've been reading through the descriptors for Fruit located under the Blind Tasting section, I am seeing different descriptors for each Certified examinable grape, and therefore am finding it hard to group them i.e. I'm not really finding any common descriptors.
Does anyone have advice for grouping grapes by Fruit?
Also, some descriptors don't mention the Fruit condition, and I know that the condition must be filled in on the grid. If the descriptor just says "red/yellow apple" as in the case of Italian PG, does that just = ripe?

I also attended the blind tasting workshop and the workbook given to me from that class has a great section on all the testable varieties and the "stand out" descriptors for each, common confusions with other grapes and more. I highly suggest attending that workshop if you are able to.
