What is this tasty beverage? Where is it from? What would you pair it with?
And if you are wondering, I believe it is roughly pronounced MAHK-oh-lee?
Hint: It is NOT a highly allocated new flavor of White Claw.
I think it is a slightly milky sparkling Korean rice wine, usually of low (5-7%abv) alcoholic content.
Often it is consumed with korean seafood pancake/omlette
or make horchata without the sugar and add booze
