Today's Tasting Note

I am wondering if anyone could add some insight to today's tasting note (feb 24, see below)

The answer is Malbec from Argentina which is usually a wine that I have difficulty getting in a blind tasting.  A note that is a "banker" for me (if I pick it up) is red apple.  From the note below for me it could be a few different New World wines such as southern CA syrah (edit or better yet WA sryah).

What evidence from the note below would definitely lead you to the final conclusion that this is a Malbec from Argentina?

Tasting Note of the Day
Sight: Opaque, high concentration of color, dark purple core with electric pink/purple youthful rim, high viscosity, thick purple stained tears
Nose: Medium-plus intensity. Blueberry, blackberry and boysenberry. Secondary aromas of violets, coffee bean and chocolate. Subtle herbs. Toast, and vanilla bean suggest new oak barrel. Slight forest floor earthiness, but fruit dominated.

Dry, with a fruity attack. Full body, medium-plus acid, medium-plus tannin. Structure is firm considering the fruit. Ripe blackberry, blueberry preserves and fresh dark plums. Floral with green coffee bean and bittersweet chocolate. Cinnamon, vanilla and cedar suggest new oak aging. Fresh turned earth is subtle, but present.
