Fantastic post, Shayn! From the seriousness of the wines listed to the frivolity of the pictures. The True embodiment of the Sommelier is perfectly exposed, the myth of snobery completely squashed.

A hearty thanks to Shayn and Jendi. What a fantastic afternoon. Great wine, like-minded souls and a dangerous slide for adults to play on. I will be appealing the No Budgie Smuggler rule and if successfully will don my two-toned version AND a surfboard for next year. Upright all the way!!

Budgie Smugglers (as my Aussie friends like to call Banana Hammocks) are strictly forbidden by the ISNSC (International Slip-n-Slide Committee) per Section 2, Bylaw A.1, which reads:

"The use of speedo-like suits only may result in the presence of unwanted body hair sullying the course; therefore, they are strictly disallowed from official competitions."

Tell you what, though. I would pay to see "Low B" on this thing...you in next year?

Irene and myself just returned from our honeymoon and wanted to also thank Shayn, Jendi, The Guild, and everyone involved. We had a great time spending time with everyone, community is so important and no one foster that better than Shayn. For everyone that missed it, the wines listed where just the cherry on the top of an amazing day.

Thank you again for opening your home to all of us. I would also like to extend a special thanks to the Guild for their contribution to our wine family. It was indeed a great time.

For all of those who went down the slide my blackberry wounds have finally healed. (I know Kevin will be glad) Looking forward to next year and what JT will be wearing.
