I have lived in the US since the mid '90's but my heart is always "back home in TO". I was one of the early sommeliers along with Norman Hardie and others that wanted to open the eyes and palettes of Torontonians. Programs offered at George Brown and WSET were the only certifications available. I have fond memories of Jacque Marie and David Lawreson that have made a lasting impression on me. When home I always take a trip to the Vintages in the LCBO to look for something Canadian to bring back for my fellow Somms. My latest find was Norman Hardie's Pinot from "PEC". Bravo to the all the Canadian Somms! Patricia Elliot Wamhoff
