As I understand it, all of the following are highly likely to be eliminated as deductible items: work-related travel, transportation, meal, and entertainment expenses; dues to professional societies; education (work-related); home office expenses; subscriptions to professional journals and trade magazines related to your work; tools and supplies used in your work; work clothes and uniforms (if required and not suitable for everyday use).

The only way I see around this, granted I've put about 5 minutes of time thinking about it, is to incorporate ourselves and write it all off as a business expense. That leaves the issue of getting our employers to pay us as a business rather than individual - and that can't be an easy task.

RE: The True Story of To-Kalon Vineyard

coming across and learning from this article 2 years after its publication, only reinforces how history works. so great.

RE: Inglenook of Napa Valley

The frontier spirit of California was always something I loved in our history. I wish I had been a wine nerd at the time since I'd have gotten so much more out of the experience but it was still absolutely lovely. We loved our flight of the 2007 Rubicon, CASK Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc and their 2009 Blancaneaux.
