I was lucky enough to do a couple of weeks vintage in Portugal in 2018 and manage to squeeze in a trip to Madeira.

This article is beyond sensational and covers absolutely every facet of my own experience there! The visceral and technical information presented in such a seamless and elegant way really does deserve all the praise this writing has received over the years.

Some interesting new information: as of this year, Madeira producers can officially label wines as Tinta Negra!

Master Stamp, great read and very informative. Descriptive and thorough makes a great understanding of the region and wines. You always learn more from trips to wine making areas, but that read was like I was right there.
