I wish I had been a wine nerd at the time since I'd have gotten so much more out of the experience but it was still absolutely lovely. We loved our flight of the 2007 Rubicon, CASK Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc and their 2009 Blancaneaux.

I printed that one up for the staff as the history of THAT vineyard is fascinating. The history of Napa is fascinating, and articles like this remind us what how this valley came to be. I am embarrassed to say that I was in the group of sommeliers that poo pooed Napa Cabernet's in the past. After being here for almost 6 years, I am happy to admit how wrong I was.
