Kudos on packing so much into this. Enjoyed the discussions of harmony, integration, structure, and tension. Hadn't really considered the idea of tension before in Burgundy wines. The graphics on moving toward a logical conclusion on the 1er Cru Volnay were very helpful. I will use this wine-tasting version of a decision tree in future evaluations. Cheers!
Heh, my Diploma test for still wines thoroughly had a flight of white Burg saying "these are all from the same region", explain them, and they were a macon-village, village and premier cru if I recall correctly. I passed but I wish I had seen this before the test! Also I wished I didn't have an afternoon of essay writing coming because I wanted to drink them...
