  • Hi all, thank you for the above video. I'm having a discussion with another wine director and we seem to disagree on one question when it comes to pricing wines so I thought I would ask here: in the formula "selling price=cost price/(1-GP)", do you use the cost (excl. GST) or the cost (incl. GST)? Thanks!

  • So much practical information here, presented in a very organized way. This was two hours well spent, and i learned a great deal.

    One note though regarding the discussion of Madeleine Tiffon. I feel that a statement like "she's one of the most amazing *female* masters on the planet" is doing a disservice to not only Madame Tiffon, but to women in general. You're either good at what you do or not. The sooner we do away with generalizations and classifications based on gender (or race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, etc.), and just evaluate people on their performance and character, the better. If/when it's even necessary to evaluate people at all. ;-)
