If it is comparable to previous Top Somm questions, then I would place the level of difficulty around level 3.5 (somewhere beyond the Advanced Level). Many of the questions on the Advanced Course knowledge assessment were similar to the easy questions on the Top Somm online exam. The harder questions on Top Somm (i.e. match French regional cheeses to near-by esoteric AOCs) seemed even harder than the theory questions at the Advanced Exam.
