In Asti DOCG, rosé wines are now allowed as Asti Rosato, produced in the Spumante or Spumante Metodo Classico style. Brachetto is required at a minimum 10%, with Moscato Bianco at a minimum 70%.
Washington State has a new AVA, the 280th in the US. The new Columbia Hills AVA is nested in the Columbia Valley AVA, with primarily Cabernet Sauvignon vines planted near the Columbia River.
Three new Sherry Pagos have been approved: Encinilla-Grija, Loma de Vejines, Torre de Cera.
