What's the difference between GuildSomm and the Court of Master Sommeliers?
GuildSomm is a 501(c)6 nonprofit membership organization focused on education and community for wine professionals. Anyone can be a member. Our content is beneficial to those working across varied roles and toward any sort of certification—or none at all. The Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS) is a certification body with four levels: Introductory, Certified, Advanced, and Master. GuildSomm recognizes the Court as the preeminent examining body for sommeliers, but the two organizations are not related.
What about SommFoundation?
SommFoundation is our partner organization. It is a 501(c)3 educational foundation offering scholarship and enrichment trip opportunities to working wine professionals.

I applied for an enrichment trip. When will I be notified if I was selected or not?
Generally, applicants are notified a few weeks after the application deadline. If we know the exact date, we will note it in the announcement posting. With more specific questions, please email Lynn Fletcher at SommFoundation: email@example.com.
How can I find a study or tasting group in my city?
We’re so glad you asked! In our Study Forums, you can look for a group near you or start a new one.
How do I cancel my membership?
Go to your Profile page. On the righthand side, you'll see a section titled "Manage Membership." Click the "Cancel Membership" button, and your membership is cancelled.
I’m having issues watching a webinar that I purchased. What do I do?
If you are losing access or the screen is going blank, it may be a connection issue. Run a system check with Onstream. You can also enter your email address to be contacted by Onstream if the problem continues. If you have a firewall in place, add an exception for https://join.onstreammedia.com. If you’re on a work computer or other large network, ask your IT representative to grant access to Ports 80, 443, and 1935, for both RTMP traffic and standard web traffic.
