SoCal Restaurant Sommelier TexSom Scholarship- 100 word Essay Due 5/16

Hey everyone,
I'm helping Geoff Labitzke get applicants for Kistler's Scholarship to Texsom!  The application is at the bottom. I am the only one collecting applications for this as a third-party representative.
Everything is included, you just have to get yourself to Dallas. You just have to write a 100 word essay about what it would mean to you and your career (add details about who you are, where you work, your job).
Requirements:

1) Must work in a Socal Restaurant (not supply side, but please share this email with anyone who would qualify)

2) Bonus if you've never been to Tex Som

3) Deadline May 16th
Here's the actual verbiage from Geoff:
Kistler Vineyards is pleased to offer 2 scholarships to TexSom being held August 18-20, 2019. TexSom is a conference held annually in Dallas, TX created for the industry by the industry and is one of the most lauded events in the world of wine. It is an invaluable experience for anyone studying for a credential and provides a wealth of networking experiences for anyone in the wine business or restaurant trade. The scholarships provided by Kistler Vineyards includes lodging from August 16-21, and all additional expenses with the exception of airfare to the Dallas area. To qualify, you must be a sommelier in the greater Los Angeles area that is actively working on a restaurant floor or currently holds a wine director position. Preference will be given to those working in restaurants able to sell high-end California wines and ideally, we would like to offer this opportunity to candidates who have never attended the conference. Please draft a 100 word essay about what TexSom would mean to your career and how you would use the experience. Also include details about your work history and describe your current role in the restaurant business. The deadline for applications is May 16.

Please feel free to share with somms in restaurants in the Socal area (including San Diego). To apply fill out this survey (copy and paste your essay into it):
