We were talking about creating an article exploring ways you can use a tool like Excel to manage your beverage program. Do people have specific reports or ways they use Excel successfully in their program management they can share?
Yes. We use it in myriad different ways. We’ve created a document that creates a running perpetual, theoretical cost, inventory analysis, ordering and par systems all in one. I can email you the document that we’ve created.
I like the filter option, so i can organize columns by higher cost, eliminate zero variances, et cetera
Lots of fun things to do, linking sheets, color coding your beverage cost, developing pricing matrix etc. Huge thanks to Will Costello MS & Steven Poe MS for showing me the way of the Jedi!
As a server, I do not assist in wine inventory, but my question is, does anyone use Microsoft Access?
Would you mind sharing that doc with me?
Sure. What’s your email?
May I have it as well please? Jascwyatt@me.com
Across the four restaurants I've handled inventory for, I've used Accubar, Eatec, Compeat, and Bevspot. Never Access.
Brandon, would you mind sharing it with me as well? Thank you

Hello Brandon,
I am in the process of opening a restaurant and would love to check out your document that you created if you do not mind.

Access if you know best how to use it is very powerful, but I think over kill for a wine program....
I'd love as well!

I was having problems adding my email address when I posted the at sign, apologies for spelling out.
Hi Brandon! If you're willing to share this document with a larger audience, could you add it to your profile so that this thread doesn't become overrun with requests? On the righthand side of your GuildSomm profile, you'll see "View All Files." Click there, and then you'll see an easy option to upload the file. Thank you!
