On October 2nd from 11am to 1pm Wines of South Africa (www.wosa.us) will be hosting a masterclass for sommeliers, wine directors, and retail wine buyers at the Hospitality Learning Center’s Natural Light Sensory Analysis Laboratory.
A dozen wines representing the quality and diversity of South Africa’s burgeoning wine scene will be presented. Jim Clarke, former Wine Director at Megu and Armani Ristorante in New York, will put the wines in context, discussing terroir, traditions, and current trends. The class is free for members of the trade and media.
Following the masterclass there will be a small tasting of South African wines that are looking for distribution in Colorado for anyone who’s interested. This will be a great opportunity for distributors looking to add South African wines to their portfolio or expand their offerings to keep up with the category’s growing popularity.
