Educational Conference on Napa Valley for Wine Writers, May 20-22

I've started a non-profit to hold educational conferences for wine writers. Each conference will be in a different region and focus solely on education regarding that zone. The first conference will be in Napa Valley, May 20-22.

What writers can expect from the Wine Writers’ Educational Tour (WWET):
- A deep immersion into Napa Valley including seminars, tastings, vineyard visits and meals with winemakers
- Coverage of history, terroir, wine styles, sustainability, current issues, and more
- About 30 hours of content in three days
- 120+ wines
- Content presented by growers, winemakers, master somms and highly respected educators
- A fun, professional, and collegial environment
Here are a few examples of the content:
- Karen MacNeil will present a 2-hour seminar/tasting on the history of Napa Valley
- Marc Mondavi will lead a tour of Charles Krug winery
- Steve Matthiasson and Rory Williams will do a vineyard tour, tasting and discussion of organic/sustainable viticulture (with lunch) at Tres Sabores
