Alicia Wilbur The first woman (from Martin Codax) is Katia Álvarez
What's the name of the woman you're interviewing?
Wow. Great technical information on this podcast! Grüner Veltiner next please!
Question though Geoff.
Are most of the producers we are exposed to here in North America blending fruit from the different dub-regions? If so are they basing that wine on a particular sub-region or are those producers (thinking Castro Martin, Martin Codax, Fefinanes, Fillaboa, etc) making wines solely from the subregion they are based in. I know Terras Gauda is labelled as O Rosal but don't think I remember seeing any sub-region on other wines.
Thanks Geoff, Great stuff!
Really cool podcast! Albarino was an interesting choice, of all the grapes you could have picked. I've found this extremely informative and educational because it's one of the varietals that I know the least about. Keep up the great work!
