Anyone interested in going in on an Airbnb for the Dallas course in April? Weighing options...
I'm also looking at other options within walking distance to the Ritz (quite a bummer they're not offering affordable rates). I'd be down for an airbnb split close by.
Agreed. It would be great to find something within walking distance for sure. I will see what options there are on airbnb. Have you decided whether you will fly out Wednesday night or Thursday?
Walking distance might be tough, but affordable rates shouldnt be. When I was in Dallas for the advanced course in 2016 we found a decent place for around a hundred a night. While not quite walking distance, it was only about 2 miles from the venue (4 seasons).
I stayed at the La Quinta Inn last year and mostly walked. It was about a 20 minute walk, or a 7 minute cab ride.
I've seen many great deals on Airbnb within a mile, so a 20 minute walk or less. Just grabbed one for less than $60/night and will be a 12 minute walk from the hotel.
Hustle and get those reservations!
I feel even this several day difference was too long a wait- I sprung for a 1 Bedroom Apartment on AirBnB within walking distance for (after fees) about $110 per night. I envy the people that snuck in for $60.
Would be down for a room-share on a larger place if anyone were looking, since it's refundable with notice. I'm planning on flying out Wednesday night.
Have you found an Airbnb? I'd like to share a house/room??
I'm flying in Sunday, either at 3 or at 7, and flying out Thursday at noon. I'd be interested in splitting a hotel or AirBnB.
Auzzie, I'm just looking at AirBnB and rooms now... though I'm leaning towards hotel for complimentary breakfasts! Ha. I'm on the same(ish) schedule, though I won't be in til later Sunday night. Happy to share if you're interested!
Hi Jenna! I just realized this thread for a course in April. I’m going in June. Which one are you doing?
Hi Jenna, are you still looking for a roomie for the April course? I'm flying in on Sunday and then leaving early Thurs AM. Let me know, thank you!
Hi Chrissy, have you found something for Dallas? Taking the course in April.
I booked at the Market Square Days Inn and it was $90 a night, but I am Canadian so it would probably be cheaper for Americans with the exchange rate. I watched the prices for about 2 weeks before I finally booked though, they were fluctuating quite a bit.
Don't know if that helps!?
Thanks for the top Rachael! I'm probably going to book the Days Inn.
