I'm looking for some Mexican wines to try and bring on for a menu theme next month and when I was at Cafe des Artistes in Puerto Vallarta, I had a delicious Nebbiolo that was very reasonable.
I'm in Sacramento so looking for recommendations if anyone knows who distributes Mexican wines in Northern California, not just Nebbiolo. I saw on SevenFifty that Youngs has a Nebbiolo but ordering with them currently is not possible. So any other known distributors would be welcome.
Heh, could it have been you tried El Cielo Nebbiolo/Sangio?
Not sure about NorCal, but Molly Brooks has some Mexican wines in the portfolio.
Tom Bracamontes has a world of greatness regarding as well in addition to Molly.

Not sure if you can get it in your market, but I have been working with L.A.Cetto Nebbiolo since the 2004 vintage and always have success with it. I serve it blind to guests after the Barolo discussion. I work in a market where prices would scare you silly, so always looking for value alternatives. Great to see someone else looking not this market!
Try Farm, they rep Bichi which does blends of Nebbiolo and some other Italian varietals.
Agreed on Tom. Great selection.
Thanks Vlada & Kat!
Nick, I am based in San Diego but my company self-distributes in California, so we can send wine your way. We currently distribute just one Nebbiolo, from Torres Alegre, but have a Cabernet/Nebbiolo Blend from Adobe Guadalupe that is pretty popular as well. Feel free to email me your info - firstname.lastname@example.org & I can send you the book!
