I have recently come across an organization called North American Sommelier Association (NASA) which is a North American Chapter of World Sommelier Association (WSA). I looked at their web site and talked to a couple of their Silver Pin Sommeliers, which is their first-level certification. It looks very similar to our Court of Master Sommelier (well, with some differences, of course). So my question is what do people know about NASA/WSA? How do they compare to CMS? Differences, preferences, similarities? I am sure most of the members know them, but I am just starting in wine, so this information is new and valuable to me. Thank you.
