So whilst preparing for tasting for certified in the next few months here I grabbed a bottle of gigondas because it’s something I don’t taste often. After tasting I looked over the bottle and noticed that the producer lists the blend composition but it adds up to 110%. Am I missing something or is this some weird label mistake? Tried looking this bottle up online and couldn’t find an answer so hoping someone here can either educate me or validate my confusion. Cheers either way!
Maybe the winemaker put in 110% effort when making the wine?
I've seen multiple bottles out of the EU (Feance and Italy in particular) that have optimistic math for assemblage. Just chalk it up to paying mor attention to making the wine that printing the label

Although I don't remember producer or AOP, i have definitely seen this on a southern rhone blend as well.
