Need Recs: New World Non-Traditional Method Sparkling

I’m preparing for my WSET-D4 Sparkling exam and I need to taste a New World Non Traditional Method Sparkling wine of good quality.
Any recommendations of a wine that fits this description and is easily accessible (major liquor/wines shops)? Sparkling Rosé is ok too.

Just a heads-up, Australian Shiraz is a different category.

Thanks!

  • Christine, WSET uses wines available in all major markets in order to be fair to all candidates. The non-TM wines that I can think of for MW (Barefoot Bubbly, Australian Pink Moscato) would be unlikely, I think, for WSET Diploma. My advice would be to concentrate on the classics.

  • Christine, I agree with Kim here. Pet-nat is certainly becoming more popular, so it's a good category to know, but for the WSET Diploma, New World non-traditional method of good quality includes things like Korbel, Barefoot Bubbly, etc. Based on wines used from previous exams, it seems very unlikely that they would include one of these.
