The Eastern Mediterranean was a cradle of viticulture, where the business of wine first flourished. From here the grape along with grains and olives spread across the sea, and became essential to all Mediterranean cuisines.
Today the region has been revived, with vineyards replanted and state-of-the-art wineries established. Once again it is a thriving wine region, of unique interest to wine lovers and connoisseurs. Israel is pleased to announce its first-ever Wines of Israel Grand Tasting in New York City on September 10, 2019, followed by masterclasses in Boston, Chicago, and Philadelphia on September 12.
Join us in New York at Union Park Events and taste a wide variety of exemplary wines and speak with representatives from nearly 30 wineries, representing each of Israel's wine regions within the context of "Grapes, Grains, and Olives". For those in Boston, Chicago, and Philadelphia, join us on September 12 for a series of seminars guided tastings that will include Israel’s top wine producers.
