New Zealand leads the wine world with regard to its certified sustainability program (Sustainable Wine Growing New Zealand, https://www.nzwine.com/en/sustainability/) with 98% of all production certified as such under what may very well be the world’s most demanding program. Sustainability is an essential part of the New Zealand culture and a means to allow future generations to enjoy the riches of this clean green land.
The theme for the day will be sustainability, organics, and biodynamics. The walk-around tasting will be preceded by a seminar that will delve deeper into the subject. This seminar will include an animated and illustrative discussion with Elaine Chukan Brown of Hawk Wakawaka Wine Reviews and Kim Crawford of Loveblock Wines digging into how these approaches to winegrowing are practiced in the vineyard and winery.
Seats for the seminar will be limited. If you would like to apply to attend please e-mail email@example.com and indicate 'Request to Attend September 18 Seminar' in the subject line.
