Hey all how are you?
I'm going now deep into Germany studies. I hope to make this a rolling thread for questions at Advance (and Master, more education the better) level.
Hope you will join me!
What is the Ochsle level required for Mosel pradikat wines?
What is the difference between Schillerwein and Weissherbst and where is each predominantly made?
Weissherbst is a rose made by the direct pressing of a single red variety of at least 95%... Rheingau...? Schillerwein is a pink wine made by co-fermenting red and white grapes in the Wurttemberg region.
What is an AP#?
Amtliche Prufungsnummer, or the official testing number. This indicates that the wine has gone before a panel and corresponds to the testing site, village of the producer, estate, bottling and vintage. It is a very systematic and through approach to bottling, one dare say very German in style ;)
List 2 monopole vineyards of the Rheingau and their owners
Hattenheimer Steinberg, owned by Kloster Eberbach, and Hattenheimer Pfaffenberg, owned by Schloss Schönborn.
What is the name of the 1000-liter cask common in the Mosel?
What is the most northern gemeinde in the Rheingau?
Donovan Ingram First I would say that the term gemeinde is a bit tricky for this question my friend. This term is a legal term for a municipality with legal authorities and sometimes villages are under gemeinde that is not under the same name.
I believe you wanted to ask what is the most northern village? If I'm not wrong its Lorch
What two natural elements surround the Mosel valley?
Would the better word be Dorf in this case?
To answer your question, the Hunsrück hills, and the Eifel Mountains.
What are the names of Carl von Schubert'sche Schlosskelleri's three monopoles in the Ruwer?
I think the best will be just a village or commune as we all know that terms are referring to a wine-producing area and we are not asking direct geography, just wine-related.
Regard your question Abstbeg, Herrenberg, Bruderberg?
Where Fruendstuck vineyard is located?
In which village is the Grosse Lage site Ungerheuer located in?
Isnt it also Forst?
