I have my certified exam scheduled for August 7th in Boston. I've been studying nearly every day for about 2 months and I feel at this point like I'm going in circles. I'm going to have 10 days off work before the exam and I'm trying to put together a curriculum. Is there anyone who has taken the certified recently who might be able to have a brief conversation with me either via email, skype, or telephone who might be able to advise me on a course of study or just answer a series of simple questions? I think I'm in a relatively good spot, but I could use a bit of direction on how to best use my time.
Hi Matt, I took the exam in Boston at Grill 23 in feb, I’d be happy to chat with you. Let me know what way would be best, my email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Of course, what I have to say will be immaterial, every exam is totally different, but happy to pass along my experience!
Yep, go ahead and send me an email @ email@example.com
It sounds like your theory study is solid. If you have been tasting regularly and work the floor full time you should be solid. If you have yet to run a beverage program take some time to speak with someone who has. Pricing, strategies, etc.
Also, keep in mind, your body reacted the same way when it is “excited” as it does when you are “nervous” - Change the mind set!
Breathe and have fun you'll be okay
