Is anyone else registered for this exam? Would you want to chat/provide moral support and encouragement lol? Feel free to get in touch, text me at (973) 903 6979 :)
I'll be there, and need the moral support as well!!
Text me! I’m traveling from nj
I just passed Cert in November (also in Atlanta, coincidentally). Relax, don’t stress. Study....taste....repeat.
DO know things like DOC/DOCGs in Tuscany that use Sangiovese. Don’t worry about things like minimum must weights or required minimum alcohol % in Jura. Breadth, not depth. Review maps as you study regions/countries.
The intro book and the study guides on this site are what I read almost exclusively. Reference the Wine Bible or Jancis Robinson for other details. Watch the GuildSomm videos. Listen to the podcasts for good measure.
Practice tasting blind and semi-blind a few times a week leading up to the exam. You’ll do fine. Good luck.
Awesome thanks dude!
how much time take you to study the study guides?
